Join StaffKing Pte Ltd as an Accounts Executive (AP Function) in the dynamic Offshore Oil & Gas Manufacturing sector. This is a 6-month renewable contract offering a competitive salary of up to $4,000/month plus a $100 transport allowance. Based in Ubi, Singapore, you’ll work in a 5-day workweek (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM) environment, contributing to financial operations in a high-impact industry.
As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth accounts payable processes, vendor management, and financial compliance. This opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a background in accounting, AP functions, or manufacturing finance, seeking a stable yet flexible contract role with growth potential.
Responsibility
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage accounts payable transactions, including payments, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with accounting standards.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis for management review.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue payments to vendors.
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve AP processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar roles, preferably in manufacturing or Oil & Gas.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and team coordination.
- Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with contract-based roles is advantageous.
