Responsibility
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage accounts payable transactions, including payments, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute payment reports for management review.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounts payable workflows.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with local tax regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
