Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are recorded correctly.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit tax filings, ensuring compliance with local regulations and deadlines.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities by compiling and analyzing financial data.
- Handle petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records of all disbursements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data integrity and provide support for audits.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably as an Accounts Assistant.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations is a plus.
