Responsibility
- Supervise and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indonesian GAAP and tax regulations.
- Lead the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns (e.g., VAT, Withholding Tax, Annual Tax) to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance with a focus on precision and efficiency.
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and improve operational workflows.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and government agencies to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.
- Develop and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for cost optimization and strategic decision-making.
- Stay updated on changes in Indonesian tax laws and accounting standards, advising management on implications for the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; a Brevet A & B certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting/taxation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (PPH, PPN, etc.) and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local software like Zahir) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities with a track record of process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
- Experience working in a multinational or fast-paced environment is advantageous.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
