Responsibility
- Ensure full compliance with Singapore financial regulations, GAAP, and corporate governance standards for all regional operations.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including consolidation and analysis of financial statements.
- Manage tax filings, audits, and statutory submissions in collaboration with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate financial risks and ensure operational efficiency.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support strategic business decisions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align financial processes with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and industry best practices, ensuring proactive adaptation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit, with a focus on compliance and corporate governance.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), IFRS, and tax regulations.
- Proven experience in financial statement preparation, consolidation, and analysis for multinational or regional operations.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with fluency in English.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the logistics, express delivery, or supply chain industry is a plus.
