Responsibility
- Reconcile daily transactions between the company’s accounting system and hotel partner payment records to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data, including unmatched transactions, and make necessary adjustments.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on reconciliation findings, adjustments, and financial discrepancies for management review.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations) to clarify transaction details and resolve issues efficiently.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by verifying financial records and supporting audit requirements.
- Monitor and track outstanding transactions to ensure timely resolution and minimize financial risks.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies in reconciliation workflows and proposing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, reconciliation, or financial reporting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial data.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
