Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indonesian GAAP and IFRS.
- Coordinate tax compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax filings, while liaising with external tax advisors.
- Collaborate with headquarters and regional teams to consolidate financial data and support group reporting requirements.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial processes.
- Prepare budget forecasts and variance analyses to support management decision-making.
- Assist in audits (internal and external) by providing documentation and clarifications as needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, vendors, and other external partners to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or tax compliance (preferably in a multinational or wholesale environment).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)âmandatory for communication with global teams.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and experience with tax filings.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
