Responsibility
- Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payments, and credit memos.
- Conduct daily reconciliations of customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables, ensuring timely collections and minimizing overdue accounts.
- Collaborate with the Australian finance team to align processes and reporting standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing payment inquiries and resolving billing issues.
- Prepare and distribute aging reports and financial statements as required.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounts receivable operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or finance operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (advanced level preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience supporting Australian or international finance teams is a plus.
- Familiarity with multi-currency transactions and cross-border payment processing.
