Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations.
- Handle tax filings, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other statutory requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data, analyze discrepancies, and resolve accounting issues.
- Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights to support financial decision-making.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or tax roles, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Certification in accounting (e.g., Brevet A/B, CPA) is a plus.
