Responsibility
- Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, including timely and accurate filing of VAT, corporate income tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK).
- Conduct tax planning and optimization strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring full compliance with local and national tax laws.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights, forecasts, and recommendations for business decision-making.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth audits and inspections.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and industry best practices to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and tax management, preferably in the property, real estate, or hospitality industry.
- Professional certification (e.g., Brevet A/B, CPA, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Accurate, Zahir, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience working in Bali or familiarity with the local business environment is a plus.
