Responsibility
- Lead and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and financial reporting standards (e.g., PSAK, IFRS).
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s fiscal position while minimizing liabilities.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits and inspections.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support strategic decision-making.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets.
- Mentor and train finance team members to enhance performance and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or Brevet A/B) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and tax management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, corporate taxation, and financial compliance requirements.
- Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; ability to draft clear and concise financial reports.
- Experience in the energy, oil & gas, or natural resources sector is highly advantageous.
