Responsibility
- Supervise and streamline the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) process, including invoice verification, approval workflows, and payment execution.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (e.g., VAT, withholding taxes) and maintain accurate financial records.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciling AP accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and accelerate payment cycles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Procurement, Finance) to align AP processes with company policies and vendor contracts.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity, providing insights to optimize working capital.
- Train, mentor, and manage AP staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present financial reports and KPIs to senior management, highlighting trends and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and financial reporting standards (PSAK/IFRS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
- Experience in audit coordination and internal controls is highly desirable.
