Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor, train, and evaluate accounting staff to foster professional growth and maintain high performance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic business decisions.
- Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate income tax filings, in coordination with external auditors.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and system improvements to streamline financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and Indonesian tax regulations.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage and develop a team.
- Experience with financial audits, internal controls, and compliance reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
