Responsibility
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory requirements, and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize working capital to support business operations.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry best practices to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience in the logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
