Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll processing.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records and reports in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, HR, and management) to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization or revenue enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT/GST, income tax, and other statutory requirements in Indonesia.
- Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, month-end/year-end closing, and general ledger management.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations (e.g., PPN, PPh).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience working in a multicultural or international environment is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
