Responsibility
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial policies, and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
- Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions to mitigate financial risks.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as needed.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
