Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support data-driven business decisions.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payroll-related transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions to maintain financial health.
- Support tax preparation and filing, liaising with external auditors or tax advisors as needed.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial analysis roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines.
- Experience in a digital or tech-driven company is highly desirable.
