Responsibility
- Process monthly payroll for employees in compliance with Indonesian labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal vouchers, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports, tax filings, and other financial documentation on schedule.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure employee data (e.g., salaries, benefits, deductions) is up-to-date and accurate.
- Monitor and reconcile payroll-related accounts, including bank transactions and third-party payments.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CPP) is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing, accounting, or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or local Indonesian systems) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
- Strong understanding of Indonesian payroll tax regulations and labor laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
