Responsibility
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing strategic insights and recommendations to support business growth and financial planning.
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and filings, ensuring adherence to Indonesian tax laws and regulations while optimizing tax strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and HR, to provide financial analysis and support decision-making processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth audits and compliance with all financial reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations, with experience in international financial reporting standards (IFRS) being a plus.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop accounting professionals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
