Responsibility
- Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, GAAP, and other financial standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key metrics to provide strategic insights.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing a distributed team.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian financial regulations is advantageous.
