Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
- Manage payroll processing, tax filings, and audits in collaboration with external stakeholders.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to maintain compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in an international or outsourcing environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
