Responsibility
- Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support business decisions.
- Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate income tax filings, while liaising with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Drive process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practices in financial management.
- Mentor and supervise accounting staff, fostering professional growth and maintaining a high-performance culture.
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to support long-term business planning and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and tax regulations.
- Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage teams and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience working in a multinational or group company environment is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other Southeast Asian languages is a plus.
