Responsibility
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all accounting records, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Manage tax compliance, filings, and audits, liaising with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
- Mentor and supervise accounting staff, fostering professional development and team efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance financial operations.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA).
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations (Indonesian tax laws a plus).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in a multinational or fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
