Responsibility
- Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to maintain cash flow efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and financial statements.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and manage the company’s financial health, identifying risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting management, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities with a focus on mentorship.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
