Responsibility
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international standards.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business growth.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
- Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and financial risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of local tax laws, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Experience in the trading or import/export industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
