Responsibility

  • Lead and oversee the group's financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement robust accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide strategic financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Manage complex accounting transactions, including consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and financial statement preparations.
  • Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Drive process improvements in financial systems and tools to optimize performance and reporting capabilities.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the group's financial practices remain best-in-class.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, consolidations, and compliance with international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Proven track record of managing complex accounting processes and driving process improvements.
  • Experience in the healthcare or public sector is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong collaboration with global teams.
