Responsibility
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledger entries, invoices, and expense reports.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP or local regulations.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and verify financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in payroll processing, tax filings, and ensuring timely submission of statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with the senior accountant to analyze financial data and generate insights for budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare and organize documentation for audits, ensuring all records are complete and accessible.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements in financial operations.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) to collaborate with team members.
