Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and processing of financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and verify financial transactions for discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and compliance reports under supervision.
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and procedures.
- Analyze financial data and assist in generating reports for management review.
- Perform ad-hoc accounting tasks and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to meet deadlines.
