Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive accounting systems, including chart of accounts, financial reporting, and budgeting processes for our startup phase
- Manage full-cycle HR operations: recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, and employee records management
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations (PPH, VAT) and prepare monthly/annual financial statements
- Create and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and performance management systems
- Process monthly payroll for local and remote employees, including tax calculations and social security contributions
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors for financial and HR compliance
- Analyze financial data to provide insights on cost optimization and business performance to management
- Organize employee engagement activities and maintain positive company culture in a hybrid work environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of combined experience in accounting and HR roles, preferably in startup environments
- Proficiency in Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and HRIS systems
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and employment regulations
- Excellent English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skills (written and verbal)
- Certification in accounting (e.g., CPA, CA) or HR (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision
