Responsibility
- Process and verify financial transactions, including invoices, expenses, and payments with meticulous accuracy.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are up-to-date and compliant with accounting standards.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Assist in payroll processing, including calculating wages, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for budgeting and forecasting.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable, following up on outstanding payments and resolving discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and company policies in all financial activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role (internships count!).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of numerical data accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and local tax laws.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
