Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal vouchers, and account reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including financial statement preparation and variance analysis.
- Verify and reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial documents.
- Support tax compliance by preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with external auditors or tax advisors.
- Generate financial reports and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
- Monitor and maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or partial qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance in the Philippines or Indonesia is advantageous.
