Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations in Indonesia.
- Maintain and organize financial records, including invoices, receipts, and transaction documents, in both digital and physical formats.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries and assisting with financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency through automation and best practices.
- Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and respond to auditor inquiries in a timely manner.
- Monitor deadlines for tax filings, payments, and regulatory submissions to avoid penalties and ensure compliance.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including data entry, document management, and communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting, tax preparation, or financial compliance roles.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws and regulations, including VAT, income tax, and corporate tax requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data and documents.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
