Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards (e.g., PSAK/IFRS), and company policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate smooth audit processes and resolve discrepancies.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization or revenue enhancement.
- Mentor and train accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, operations, HR) to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, PSAK/IFRS standards, and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Experience in the agribusiness, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors is an advantage.
