Responsibility
- Lead and supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth and cost optimization.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and implement recommendations.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations in Singapore/Indonesia.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or multinational companies is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a bonus.
