Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and implement recommendations for process improvements.
- Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to support strategic business decisions.
- Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards (Indonesian GAAP preferred).
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
