Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and processing of accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices and expense reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all entries are properly documented and filed.
- Prepare and verify payment documents, including checks, wire transfers, and electronic payments.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including BIR requirements, and assist in the preparation of tax filings.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather and verify financial data for reporting purposes.
- Monitor and track outstanding payables, following up on discrepancies or delays as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other ad-hoc reports as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable processes, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations (e.g., BIR compliance) is a plus.
