Responsibility

  • Assist senior auditors in planning and executing financial audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ledgers, and account reconciliations with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Document audit findings, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions to improve financial processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify financial data for internal and external audits.
  • Support the preparation of audit reports, presentations, and recommendations for management review.
  • Maintain organized audit files, work papers, and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in risk assessment procedures and recommend internal control improvements to mitigate financial risks.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and audit methodologies relevant to the industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or partial qualification is a plus.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis (internships included).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and audit principles with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data.
