Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and processing of financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records in accounting software.
- Support the reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing financial reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Assist in preparing tax documents and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably as an Accounting Assistant.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
