Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and forecasting to support financial planning and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Perform audits and reviews of financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an educational or public sector environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
