Aleta Planet is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in Bali. Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international standards.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions and strategic planning.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to monitor budgets, forecast financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions as needed.
- Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational or dynamic business environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
- Experience in the hospitality, retail, or e-commerce sectors is a bonus.
