Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end financial administration for maritime operations, including vessel-related expenses, invoicing, and budget tracking.
- Process and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for vessel operations, highlighting key performance indicators and variances.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to verify financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in audits by compiling necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Monitor cash flow and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making for maritime projects.
- Maintain up-to-date records of financial transactions using accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve cost efficiency and operational performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with preference given to candidates with maritime or logistics industry exposure.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Certification such as CPA or Brevet A/B is a plus.
