Responsibility
- Accurately allocate incoming cash receipts to customer accounts and ensure proper recording in the financial system.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations to verify transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Process and verify payment transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and Australian financial regulations.
- Monitor and report on cash flow activities, providing insights to improve financial operations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline cash allocation processes and enhance efficiency.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing financial reports and supporting audits.
- Identify and escalate potential risks or issues related to cash management and financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cash allocation, bank reconciliation, or payment processing.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices, with a focus on Australian finance operations.
- Proficiency in using financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
