Responsibility

  • Accurately allocate incoming cash receipts to customer accounts and ensure proper recording in the financial system.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations to verify transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Process and verify payment transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and Australian financial regulations.
  • Monitor and report on cash flow activities, providing insights to improve financial operations.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to streamline cash allocation processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing financial reports and supporting audits.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks or issues related to cash management and financial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cash allocation, bank reconciliation, or payment processing.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices, with a focus on Australian finance operations.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
