Responsibility

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and file tax documents in compliance with local regulations.
  • Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate employee compensation.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve bookkeeping processes and efficiency.
  • Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or MYOB.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience with tax preparation and compliance is an advantage.
