Responsibility

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities in Bali’s industrial, commercial, and hospitality sectors to expand the customer base for Ingersoll Rand’s compressor products.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain points to tailor sales strategies effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including facility managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical and commercial presentations to demonstrate the value of Ingersoll Rand’s compressor solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, logistics, and customer service) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and post-sales support.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable deals while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through proactive hunting and strategic account management.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to regional management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent sales experience in industrial equipment will also be considered.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial machinery, compressors, or HVAC systems.
  • Proven track record of hunting new accounts and achieving sales growth in competitive markets.
  • Strong technical aptitude to understand and explain compressor specifications, applications, and benefits to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Bali and occasionally to other regions in Indonesia.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
