Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and direct consumers to drive sales of customized rail holiday packages.
- Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and expectations, then design tailored rail itineraries that align with their needs.
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets through proactive outreach, follow-ups, and upselling premium rail experiences.
- Provide end-to-end support for reservations, including booking confirmations, payment processing, and pre-departure assistance.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing) to ensure seamless execution of travel plans and resolve any client concerns.
- Stay updated on rail industry trends, new routes, and promotional offers to provide expert recommendations to clients.
- Utilize CRM systems to track client interactions, sales pipelines, and performance metrics.
- Represent Railbookers at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand our market presence in Asia.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or travel consulting, preferably in the tourism or hospitality sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a client-facing role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; additional Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating exceptional travel experiences.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and reservation systems.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote or hybrid environment.
- Knowledge of rail travel, luxury tourism, or international itinerary planning is highly advantageous.
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
