Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general accounting entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, payroll processing, and expense reporting.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions as needed.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with the construction or engineering industry is an advantage.
