Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Prepare and submit tax filings, VAT returns, and other statutory reports as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting treatment for business transactions.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial records and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; partial qualifications (e.g., CAT, ACCA) are a plus.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role (fresh graduates with strong academics are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and local tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
