Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions in Computer Science and Information Technology courses at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
- Develop and update curriculum content to align with industry trends, technological advancements, and global academic standards.
- Conduct original research in your field of expertise, publish findings in reputable journals, and secure research grants or collaborations.
- Supervise and mentor students in capstone projects, theses, and internships, ensuring their academic and professional growth.
- Participate in academic administration, including committee work, accreditation processes, and program development.
- Collaborate with industry partners to bridge the gap between academia and real-world applications, including internships and guest lectures.
- Contribute to university-wide initiatives, such as workshops, seminars, and community outreach programs.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and pedagogical methods to enhance teaching effectiveness and student engagement.
Qualifications
- A PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field (PhD preferred for senior roles).
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the university level, with a proven track record in course development and student mentorship.
- Strong research background with publications in peer-reviewed journals or conferences (advantageous for senior positions).
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++) and familiarity with emerging technologies (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse student populations.
- Experience with online and hybrid teaching methods is a plus.
- Fluency in English (required); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is beneficial but not mandatory.
