Responsibility
- Implement individualized ABA therapy programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with children to develop communication, social, and behavioral skills.
- Collect and record data on client progress to ensure therapy goals are met.
- Collaborate with families to provide guidance and support in reinforcing therapy techniques at home.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children during sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in ABA therapy.
- Assist in the development of behavior intervention plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all interactions with clients and families.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field (preferred).
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Previous experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities (a plus).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with children and families.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children achieve their goals.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records.
