Responsibility
- Assess and evaluate the functional abilities, needs, and goals of clients through comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to each clientâs unique requirements and objectives.
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to enhance clientsâ independence in daily living activities, work, and leisure.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic client care.
- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques, assistive devices, and environmental modifications to support functional independence.
- Conduct regular progress reviews and adjust therapy plans as needed to optimize client outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including assessment reports, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Participate in community outreach programs and workshops to raise awareness about occupational therapy and its benefits.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments, research, and best practices in occupational therapy to ensure high-quality care delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration and licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Indonesia (or eligibility for registration).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a healthcare or community setting.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to develop effective therapy plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to ethical and professional standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in diverse settings, including clinics, homes, and community centers.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel within Bali to provide therapy services across multiple locations.
